BBNaija: Jeff evicted from Big Brother Naija house

After being nominated for eviction, Jeff was sent packing from the Big Brother Naija house today August 4. 



On July 29, along with Tacha, Omashola and Mike, the banker turned reality show star was nominated for eviction. 



Jeff, who was the first Head Of House to be expelled in the 2019 edition of the Big Brother Naija Reality show, became the eighth home to be expelled. Recall that everything had been removed from the show by Avala, Isilomo, Thelma, Nelson, Tuoyo, Ella and Kimoprah. 



Five fresh housemates were also introduced to the house last week; Cindy, Elozonam, Joe, Venita Akpofure, and Enkay.

Jamb Speaks On Releasing Results-

Why we’ve not released any result yet, JAMB says, as 1.2m candidates sit UTME so far .The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board said it has not released any result relating to the ongoing Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination. It said this was because the Board was still screening the results due to certain issues surrounding the examination. The exam body said that, so far, over 1.2 million candidates have written the 2019 UTME. It also said it would ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the examination. The Board’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday in Bwari. He said that as of April 13, over 1.2 million have successfully written the examination scheduled to end April 17. Breaking: Sen. Ademola Adeleke loses as Supreme Court upholds Oyetola as Osun state governor

The Supreme Court has upheld the election of Gboyega Adetola as the governor elect of Osun state. PDP candidate in the election, Ademola Adeleke, an Uncle of singer Davido, was dissatisfied with the result announced by INEC after the election which held in September 2018 and filed a petition at the tribunal. The tribunal in a ruling delivered in March, declared Adeleke winner of the election in March. Gboyega appealed the verdict at the Court of Appeal In May, the appeal court gave judgement in favour of the APC candidate.  Adeleke then filed an appeal at the Supreme court. Delivering judgement this morning, five of the seven judges on the panel were in favour of Oyetola, leaving Adeleke with just two.
