The National Film and Video Censors Board has set up three panels to analyse a new movie starring popular Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okunneye, popularly known as  Bobrisky,  titled “Bobrisky in Love”. Bobrisky plays the role of a transgender in the movie, who travelled out of the country as a man named Cherechi but returned to the village as a woman named Cherry B, to the shock of his fiancee and relatives . According to The Punch, NFVCB has set three separate panels have been set up at the zonal levels to analyse and classify the movie and it could be banned seeing as Nigeria has laws that prohibit homosexuality, therefore work of arts that promote it cannot be endorsed by the government. The Supreme Court on Friday nullified the elections of all the candidates of the All Progressives Congress in Zamfara State in the 2019 general elections. Delivering the judgement, Justice Adamu Galunje held that the Appeal Court in Sokoto was right when it agreed with the respondents that the party did not conduct primaries in the state. According to him, a party that has no candidate cannot be said to have won an election, hence the votes cast for the APC in the election were wasted votes. Consequently, following a unanimous judgment of a five-man panel led by the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Tanko Muhammad, the apex court declared that the party with the highest number of votes cast at the election outside the appellants is the winner of the election

Nigerian popstar, Davido has unfollowed teen comedy group known as Ikorodu Bois on Instagram. This is coming after the comedy group revealed Davido has not given them the 1,000,000 million Naira he promised since January. This was made known on their Instagram page where a fan asked what they had used the money for, to which they replied they haven’t been given the promised money. So right now, checks on Instagram has shown that Davido who was previously following the social media account of the group has stopped doing so.

"After some time, he returned hopefully well-fed, sat in his taxi and went in the hope of collecting new passengers from the airport. “However, the new passenger was a bit confused about the already present passengers and made the taxi driver aware of this "carpool". “Now was the time when the baby obviously woke up, because it was noticeable and began to scream.” The driver reportedly called the police to report the discovery. Davido has unfollowed Zlatan on Instagram following the controversy that surrounded his involvement in their release from EFCC custody two days ago. A quick check on the singer’s page indicated that he is no longer following Zlatan.  In case you missed all the drama: moments after Zlatan Ibile and three associates were released from the custody of the EFCC, a report claimed that Davido hired a lawyer who helped facilitate their release.  However, Zlatan’s friend, Aremo Gucci, took to his Instagram to shut it all down saying Davido did nothing and rather it was Olamide and Burna Boy who helped the suspects.  This quickly stirred a heated exchanged between Davido’s camp and Zlatan, with many fans criticising Davido for his silence over the confusion. Eight suspected members of a gang of financial hackers that stole hundreds of millions if not billions of pesos from Mexican banks, have arrested in León, Guanajuato. Federal authorities also seized 27 luxury vehicles, motorcycles, more than $1 million in cash, drugs, weapons, a Federal Police uniform, computers and mobile telephones during raids carried out at 11 properties in the city on Wednesday. The operation involved the simultaneous execution of multiple search and arrest warrants. Six men and two women were arrested during the operation. Among the people detained was a man identified as Héctor Ortiz Solares (pictured), who is believed to be the leader of the hacking group known as Bandidos Revolution Team. Authorities said that Ortiz – aka El H-1, El Patrón and El Bandido Boss – was the chief logistics operator of the organization.
