Sen. Dino Melaye buys PDP nomination form for Kogi State Governorship election holding in November (Photos)





Senator Dino Melaye of the peoples democratic party  has purchased the nomination form for Kogi State Governorship election in November 



The lawmaker who currently represents Kogi West in the Senate, declared his intention to stand for the November 16 poll at a Peoples Democratic Party meeting a few weeks ago and according to him, 'in God we trust. We shall overcome'.



Dino Melaye will go head to head against his very bitter rival and incumbent governor, Yahaya Bello.

Jamb Speaks On Releasing Results-

Why we’ve not released any result yet, JAMB says, as 1.2m candidates sit UTME so far .The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board said it has not released any result relating to the ongoing Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination. It said this was because the Board was still screening the results due to certain issues surrounding the examination. The exam body said that, so far, over 1.2 million candidates have written the 2019 UTME. It also said it would ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the examination. The Board’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday in Bwari. He said that as of April 13, over 1.2 million have successfully written the examination scheduled to end April 17. We have reports that over 1.8 million candidates are expected to sit for the Board’s UTME that commenced nationwide on April 11. Breaking: Sen. Ademola Adeleke loses as Supreme Court upholds Oyetola as Osun state governor

The Supreme Court has upheld the election of Gboyega Adetola as the governor elect of Osun state. PDP candidate in the election, Ademola Adeleke, an Uncle of singer Davido, was dissatisfied with the result announced by INEC after the election which held in September 2018 and filed a petition at the tribunal. The tribunal in a ruling delivered in March, declared Adeleke winner of the election in March. Gboyega appealed the verdict at the Court of Appeal In May, the appeal court gave judgement in favour of the APC candidate.  Adeleke then filed an appeal at the Supreme court. Delivering judgement this morning, five of the seven judges on the panel were in favour of Oyetola, leaving Adeleke with just two.
