"I survived the Catholic Church" Literary critic says Mr. Ikhide as he discusses the sexual abuse that goes on in the Catholic Church in Nigeria

As conversations around sexual abuse in Nigerian churches continues, literary critic, Ikhide Ikheloa has pointed to the abuse that goes on in the Catholic Church and he also revealed he survived this abuse.
Posting on Facebook, he wrote:
Nigeria. COZA is a crude version of the Catholic Church of my childhood in Nigeria. Let’s just say I survived the Catholic Church. And the notion that the priests and nuns of my nightmares are luxuriating in heaven, informs my deep desire to not make heaven with our abusers and oppressors. I’d rather burn in hell with Fela and Christopher Okigbo than share space with these myrmidons of our darkness.
If African altar boys talked about the sexual abuse they suffered in the hands of Catholic priests, and sued, the Catholic Church would go bankrupt. The Catholic church is lucky, Africans don’t like to talk about these things. Taboo.?
