Femi Fani-Kayode says he stopped eating cow meat because herdsmen were having sex with cows Femi Fani-Kayode who took to Twitter to disclose why herdsmen will rather eat goat and chicken than cows, revealed that he stopped eating cow meat because the herders allegedly sleep with the cows they take care of. According to the former Minister of Aviation, the herders have sex with cows for sexual gratification and ritual purposes. He further added that the meat is "charmed". (gist of the hour blog)

Why we’ve not released any result yet, JAMB says, as 1.2m candidates sit UTME so far .The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board said it has not released any result relating to the ongoing Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination. It said this was because the Board was still screening the results due to certain issues surrounding the examination. The exam body said that, so far, over 1.2 million candidates have written the 2019 UTME. It also said it would ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the examination. The Board’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday in Bwari. He said that as of April 13, over 1.2 million have successfully written the examination scheduled to end April 17. Breaking: Sen. Ademola Adeleke loses as Supreme Court upholds Oyetola as Osun state governor

The Supreme Court has upheld the election of Gboyega Adetola as the governor elect of Osun state. PDP candidate in the election, Ademola Adeleke, an Uncle of singer Davido, was dissatisfied with the result announced by INEC after the election which held in September 2018 and filed a petition at the tribunal. The tribunal in a ruling delivered in March, declared Adeleke winner of the election in March. Gboyega appealed the verdict at the Court of Appeal In May, the appeal court gave judgement in favour of the APC candidate.  Adeleke then filed an appeal at the Supreme court. Delivering judgement this morning, five of the seven judges on the panel were in favour of Oyetola, leaving Adeleke with just two.
