77-year-old man dies in cinema while watching horror movie "Annabelle Comes Home"Movie goers in Thailand got more than they bargained for when, at the end of the horror movie they came for, they realized a man had died in the theatre.



A 77-year-old British man named Bernard Channing went to a cinema in Thailand to see the horror movie, Annabelle Comes Home. It is unclear what happened but by the time the movie was over, Channing was found dead.



The elderly man was allegedly found by the woman seated next to him. However, she did not notice his passing until the movie ended. When the movie was over and the woman realized Channing was dead, she screamed out for help and fellow moviegoers called emergency services.



Channing was pronounced dead at the scene. Local police said that there is no suspicion of foul play in this case.



Due to Channing’s age, some may speculate a possible heart attack but this hasn't been confirmed. According to The Sun UK, an autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.



Channing was visiting Pattaya, Thailand, for vacation. His is the second death that has been associated with The Conjuring franchise.

Why we’ve not released any result yet, JAMB says, as 1.2m candidates sit UTME so far .The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board said it has not released any result relating to the ongoing Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination. It said this was because the Board was still screening the results due to certain issues surrounding the examination. The exam body said that, so far, over 1.2 million candidates have written the 2019 UTME. It also said it would ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the examination. The Board’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday in Bwari. He said that as of April 13, over 1.2 million have successfully written the examination scheduled to end April 17. Breaking: Sen. Ademola Adeleke loses as Supreme Court upholds Oyetola as Osun state governor

The Supreme Court has upheld the election of Gboyega Adetola as the governor elect of Osun state. PDP candidate in the election, Ademola Adeleke, an Uncle of singer Davido, was dissatisfied with the result announced by INEC after the election which held in September 2018 and filed a petition at the tribunal. The tribunal in a ruling delivered in March, declared Adeleke winner of the election in March. Gboyega appealed the verdict at the Court of Appeal In May, the appeal court gave judgement in favour of the APC candidate.  Adeleke then filed an appeal at the Supreme court. Delivering judgement this morning, five of the seven judges on the panel were in favour of Oyetola, leaving Adeleke with just two.
