Prince Philip reportedly ?advised Prince Harry not to wed Meghan Markle as one doesn?t marry actresses?


It has been claimed that Prince Harry's grandfather, Prince Philip advised him against marrying Meghan Markle due to her profession.



According to The Sun, the Duke of Edinburgh, 98, told his grandson when he saw his relationship with Meghan was getting serious, "One steps out with actresses, one doesn’t marry them."

According to the said report, the Duke wasn't the only one who had problems with Harry and Meghan's relationship. Harry's brother, William also expressed concerns with how fast the relationship was going and this reportedly caused a feud between Harry and William.


An insider has previously told The Sun that various royals voiced concerns but that "Harry stood up for Meghan very forcibly."

Why we’ve not released any result yet, JAMB says, as 1.2m candidates sit UTME so far .The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board said it has not released any result relating to the ongoing Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination. It said this was because the Board was still screening the results due to certain issues surrounding the examination. The exam body said that, so far, over 1.2 million candidates have written the 2019 UTME. It also said it would ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the examination. The Board’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday in Bwari. He said that as of April 13, over 1.2 million have successfully written the examination scheduled to end April 17. The Supreme Court has upheld the election of Gboyega Adetola as the governor elect of Osun state. PDP candidate in the election, Ademola Adeleke, an Uncle of singer Davido, was dissatisfied with the result announced by INEC after the election which held in September 2018 and filed a petition at the tribunal. The tribunal in a ruling delivered in March, declared Adeleke winner of the election in March. Gboyega appealed the verdict at the Court of Appeal In May, the appeal court gave judgement in favour of the APC candidate.  Adeleke then filed an appeal at the Supreme court. Delivering judgement this morning, five of the seven judges on the panel were in favour of Oyetola, leaving Adeleke with just two.
