Kehinde Akerele, the legal director of Lagos State Traffic Management Authority has said its officials have the right to arrest road users who do not use seat belts or are caught making phone calls while driving.



In an interview with Lagos Traffic Radio this morning, Akerele also said, 'driving one-way is penalized with forfeiture of vehicle to the State along with other penalties depending on other effects caused by this offence'.
