Ramos wants to retire at Real Madrid despite offer to play in China

Sergio Ramos isn't going anywhere.
The defender held a press conference Thursday to insist that he wants to remain at Real Madrid and end his illustrious career in the Spanish capital despite receiving at least one offer to play in China.
"It is true that I have an offer from China on the table, I will not lie about it," Ramos told reporters, according to BBC Sport.
"My dream is to retire here."
Ramos' statement comes after Real Madrid president Florentino Perez said the 33-year-old asked to leave on a free transfer and join an unidentified club in the Chinese Super League. Perez revealed that Ramos received an offer to play in China but the club was unable to afford the transfer fee.
However, the Los Blancos captain said he always intended to stay.
"At no moment did I consider going to China," he said.
"Yesterday I went to see the president to make everything clear. I told the president that I would never go to a team that could compete with Real Madrid.
"If one day I go then it is because I think my body does not allow me to give a high level.
"I am the captain of Real Madrid and I feel very loved and supported by my teammates.
"I'm not looking to renew (my contract). I am happy with what I have. People always think it's a strategy to earn more, but it's the opposite."
Ramos, whose contract expires in 2021, began his career at Real Madrid in 2005 and has evolved into one of the game's most revered defenders. He's played a pivotal role in Madrid's 20 trophies during his 14 years and has also helped Spain win the World Cup and two European Championships.
