Former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte appointed as new Inter Milan boss after Luciano Spalletti's sacking

Former Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte has been appointed head coach at Inter Milan.


The 49-year-old returns to management having been sacked by the Blues at the end of the 2017-18 season. The Italian replaces the sacked Luciano Spalletti at the San Siro after the Nerazzurri finished fourth in Serie A this season.


A new chapter in my life is beginning, I'm really excited,' said Conte on Inter's official website.

Through my work, I'll try to repay all of the trust that the president and directors have placed in me.

'I have chosen Inter because of the club it is, because of the project's sound basis and how ambitious it is. Because of Inter's history.

'I was struck by the club's transparency and the desire to bring Inter back to where it belongs.'

On Conte's appointment, Inter president Steven Zhang said: 

'I'm sure that Antonio Conte is one of the best coaches out there,'

'I'm certain that he'll help us achieve our objective and fulfil our mission, one which has always remained the same: to make this club one of the best in the world again
.'
Conte is expected to sign Nigerian footballer Victor Moses, 28 to the club.

Jamb Speaks On Releasing Results-

Why we’ve not released any result yet, JAMB says, as 1.2m candidates sit UTME so far .The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board said it has not released any result relating to the ongoing Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination. It said this was because the Board was still screening the results due to certain issues surrounding the examination. The exam body said that, so far, over 1.2 million candidates have written the 2019 UTME. It also said it would ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the examination. The Board’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday in Bwari. He said that as of April 13, over 1.2 million have successfully written the examination scheduled to end April 17. Breaking: Sen. Ademola Adeleke loses as Supreme Court upholds Oyetola as Osun state governor

The Supreme Court has upheld the election of Gboyega Adetola as the governor elect of Osun state. PDP candidate in the election, Ademola Adeleke, an Uncle of singer Davido, was dissatisfied with the result announced by INEC after the election which held in September 2018 and filed a petition at the tribunal. The tribunal in a ruling delivered in March, declared Adeleke winner of the election in March. Gboyega appealed the verdict at the Court of Appeal In May, the appeal court gave judgement in favour of the APC candidate.  Adeleke then filed an appeal at the Supreme court. Delivering judgement this morning, five of the seven judges on the panel were in favour of Oyetola, leaving Adeleke with just two.
