Barcelona Legend Puyol Arrives Akwa Ibom State, Pictured With Jay Jay Okocha





























Spanish football superstar Carles Puyol Saforcada, commonly known as Puyol “The Wall” has landed in Nigeria for the UEFA Champions League Tour Presented By Heineken.
Puyol will be a part of the UEFA Champions League Tour Presented By Heineken in Nigeria between the 16th-18th of April, 2019.
The tour will be a three day experience that will feature exclusive encounters in Lagos and Uyo and an unmissable match to be played by select consumers and the Spanish superstar, Puyol.
The match which will take place at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, on Tuesday, April 16, will feature former Barcelona and Spain defender, Carles Puyol as captain of the of the Chairman team accompanied by 10 other players from Akwa United against the Shine Shine Bobo team with Austin Okocha as the captain including other ex-internationals and the state commissioner for information, Charles Udoh.

Jamb Speaks On Releasing Results-

Why we’ve not released any result yet, JAMB says, as 1.2m candidates sit UTME so far .The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board said it has not released any result relating to the ongoing Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination. It said this was because the Board was still screening the results due to certain issues surrounding the examination. The exam body said that, so far, over 1.2 million candidates have written the 2019 UTME. It also said it would ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the examination. The Board’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday in Bwari. He said that as of April 13, over 1.2 million have successfully written the examination scheduled to end April 17. Breaking: Sen. Ademola Adeleke loses as Supreme Court upholds Oyetola as Osun state governor

The Supreme Court has upheld the election of Gboyega Adetola as the governor elect of Osun state. PDP candidate in the election, Ademola Adeleke, an Uncle of singer Davido, was dissatisfied with the result announced by INEC after the election which held in September 2018 and filed a petition at the tribunal. The tribunal in a ruling delivered in March, declared Adeleke winner of the election in March. Gboyega appealed the verdict at the Court of Appeal In May, the appeal court gave judgement in favour of the APC candidate.  Adeleke then filed an appeal at the Supreme court. Delivering judgement this morning, five of the seven judges on the panel were in favour of Oyetola, leaving Adeleke with just two.
